My recent stay at Tsukitei in Minami Aso felt like a breath of fresh air, much like the stunning countryside back home in Newcastle. We were warmly welcomed to our air-conditioned room, which came complete with a flat-screen TV and a kettle—perfect for those late-night green tea sessions! The hotel’s proximity to Aso Farm Land and Naka-dake made it a fabulous base for exploring the natural beauty of the area; we even managed to squeeze in a trek or two, which reminded me of family adventures with my daughters. Blending comfort with outdoor adventure, Tsukitei is a charming spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature while still having a touch of modern convenience. I can’t recommend it enough for a relaxing getaway that captures the essence of rural Japan!
